1. Overview
Quorin operates as a style-focused creative tool. Users may upload reference images, enter short prompts, generate visual outputs, and save or organize those materials inside a personal archive. Because those features rely on account functionality, app performance monitoring, and image handling, several categories of information may pass through our systems.
The details below are written to be practical and readable. If a feature changes, this policy should be read together with any in-app notices shown at the time a new permission or processing activity is introduced.
2. Data Collection
Information we receive falls into a few groups, depending on how Quorin is used:
- Account and contact details: if you create an account, contact support, join a waitlist, or communicate with us, we may receive items such as your email address, account identifiers, and the contents of your message.
- User content: this includes reference photos you upload, generated images, style boards, saved lookbooks, tags, collections, and written prompts or captions entered in the app.
- Reference photos that may contain a face: if you import a personal reference photo, the image may contain a person’s face or other appearance details. Quorin treats this as sensitive user content and processes it only for the user-requested image workflow described in this policy.
- Device and technical information: app version, device model, operating system version, language settings, IP-derived region, crash diagnostics, performance logs, and similar technical records used to keep the app stable.
- Usage activity: actions such as feature engagement, session timing, screen interactions, generation requests, save/export behavior, and basic analytics about how app tools are being used.
Quorin may also incorporate third-party software development kits or infrastructure tools that help with analytics, hosting, authentication, storage, security review, payment-related workflows where applicable, and general service reliability. Those tools may process device-level or usage-level information on our behalf.
Some permissions are optional and feature-based. For example:
- Photos: requested when you choose to upload reference images or save generated visuals to your device.
- Camera: may be requested if a feature allows capturing a reference image directly from the app.
- Location: not required for Quorin’s core experience unless a future feature specifically explains why it is needed.
- Contacts: not required for the core functions of the app.
3. Data Usage
Data is utilized to operate Quorin as a creative image and style organization product. In practice, that means information may be used to create and maintain accounts, process image generation requests, store lookbooks, sync content across sessions or devices, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance.
When a user imports a personal reference photo and confirms the dedicated in-app consent dialog, Quorin sends the selected reference photo and the user’s prompt to SiliconFlow, a third-party AI service provider, for image analysis and image generation. Quorin does not use this content for facial recognition, biometric identification, identity verification, law-enforcement purposes, or advertising profiling.
We may also use information to:
- respond to support requests and user inquiries;
- detect abuse, spam, fraud, or unauthorized activity;
- measure product usage and refine design choices;
- maintain safety, moderation, and service integrity around uploaded and generated content;
- send service-related notices, including updates about features, access, security, or policy changes.
If marketing communications are offered, they will generally be sent only where permitted by law and can usually be turned off through account settings, unsubscribe options, or by contacting support. Quorin does not need to sell personal information in order to operate. In limited circumstances, information may be shared with service providers and infrastructure partners that support hosting, storage, analytics, customer support, authentication, or operational security.
We may also disclose information when necessary to comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, protect users, investigate misuse, or support a corporate transaction such as a merger, financing, or asset transfer.
4. Data Storage & Security
Content and related records may be stored on secure cloud infrastructure or managed servers used to run the app and its image-generation workflows. Depending on the architecture of a given feature, storage may occur in the United States, the European Economic Area, or other jurisdictions where our providers maintain facilities.
Safeguards may include access controls, encrypted transmission, credential protections, routine monitoring, environment separation, and vendor security reviews appropriate to the nature of the data involved. Even so, no software platform or internet-based transfer method can promise absolute security, and users should avoid uploading material they would not want stored digitally.
Retention periods depend on the category of information and the purpose for which it was gathered. For example:
- account details may remain for as long as an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward;
- support correspondence may be kept long enough to resolve issues and maintain service records;
- analytics or technical logs may be stored for shorter operational windows unless needed for security or compliance;
- user-created content may remain until deleted by the user, removed under our policies, or cleared after account closure according to our retention practices.
- the current imported reference photo used for the studio draft flow remains in the app’s local draft on the user’s device until the user replaces it, clears app data, deletes the app, or requests deletion of related content where applicable.
5. Face Data and AI Processing
Quorin allows a user to import a personal reference photo for certain AI-assisted image workflows. That imported reference photo may contain a person’s face, hairstyle, skin tone, makeup, pose, clothing, accessories, or other appearance details. Quorin treats this category of image as sensitive user content.
Before a personal reference photo is sent to any third-party AI provider, Quorin presents a dedicated in-app consent dialog. That dialog explains what data will be sent, identifies SiliconFlow as the recipient, describes the purpose of the transfer, and allows the user to cancel instead of sending the data.
If the user agrees, Quorin sends the selected reference photo and the user’s text prompt to SiliconFlow solely to analyze the visual characteristics of the reference image and generate a new style-inspired output requested by the user. Quorin does not use the reference photo, facial content, or generated analysis for facial recognition, biometric template creation, identity verification, authentication, surveillance, or advertising profiling.
For the current app workflow, the imported reference photo is stored in the app’s local draft on the user’s device until the user replaces it, clears app data, deletes the app, or requests deletion of related content where applicable. Generated output and associated prompt history may remain until removed by the user or deleted under the app’s retention practices. Quorin does not ask the user to provide a face scan, biometric template, or identity document as part of this feature.
Quorin shares this data with SiliconFlow only to provide the requested AI analysis and generation workflow. Quorin does not sell face-related user content. Third-party service providers engaged for this workflow are expected to provide protections that are equal to or stronger than the protections required by Quorin’s own privacy and security standards.
Users may refuse this processing by cancelling the consent dialog. Users may also avoid future third-party AI processing by not importing a personal reference photo, by not confirming the consent prompt, by replacing or clearing the current draft photo, or by requesting deletion through support@quorin.com.
6. Third-Party Services
Quorin may rely on outside providers to supply parts of the underlying service. These may include cloud hosting platforms, content delivery tools, analytics utilities, authentication systems, customer support platforms, moderation technologies, and payment or subscription infrastructure where relevant.
For AI-assisted generation workflows that use a user-imported personal reference photo, Quorin uses SiliconFlow as a third-party AI service provider. In that workflow, the selected reference photo and the user’s prompt are transmitted to SiliconFlow only after the user grants explicit in-app consent.
Those providers are generally permitted to handle information only for the specific purpose of delivering services to or for Quorin, subject to contractual, technical, or legal limitations. Their own privacy terms may also apply to the portions of processing they control directly.
External websites or destinations linked from the app are governed by their own policies, not this one. Users should review those materials separately when leaving the Quorin environment.
7. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights concerning personal information. These can include the right to request access to data held about you, ask for corrections, request deletion, receive a copy in a portable format where applicable, restrict certain processing, or object to particular uses.
Residents covered by GDPR may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and residents covered by CCPA or similar U.S. state privacy laws may have the right to know what categories of information are involved, request deletion, and request that certain disclosures or sharing practices be limited or opted out of where applicable.
To exercise a privacy request, email support@quorin.com. Please include enough detail for us to verify the request and locate the relevant account or records. Verification may be required before sensitive requests are fulfilled. If an exception under applicable law applies, we may retain certain records as permitted or required.
8. Children's Privacy
Quorin is not designed for children and is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly seek, solicit, or maintain personal information from anyone under 18.
If we learn that a minor has provided personal information or uploaded content through the app, we may take steps to remove the material and disable associated access, subject to operational and legal requirements. Parents or guardians who believe a child has used Quorin may contact support@quorin.com to request review.
This section is also intended to support compliance with applicable youth privacy laws, including COPPA where relevant.
9. Policy Updates
From time to time, this document may be revised to reflect product changes, legal developments, operational needs, or updates to our data practices. When that happens, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date.
If an update is material, we may also provide notice through the app, by email, or through another reasonable communication channel. Continued use of Quorin after an updated policy becomes effective indicates that the revised terms now apply to future use of the app.
